Afternoon Options
Outreach
Groups can sign up for opportunities to minister through service and prayer in the afternoons.
- Prayer outreach is intercessory and evangelism-based outreach utilizing prayer stations and prayer walking. Training is provided.
- Service projects mobilize groups to serve with their hands, muscles and servant hearts. Projects include restoring parks and playgrounds, working with homeless shelters, partnering with other city organizations and coming alongside local churches as an extension into their communities.
Pre-registration is required. You can view the outreach registration instructions here and find our outreach FAQ here.
Equipping Labs
Take learning to a new level with a variety of labs that provide students with practical skills for the other 51 weeks of the year. Learn more about the equipping labs here.
Recreation
Several open-play recreation options are available from 1 - 5 p.m. each afternoon and 9:45 - 11 p.m. each evening, including volleyball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, soccer, 9-square, gaga ball, basketball and various lawn games.
On Thursday afternoon, groups can participate in organized tournaments in ultimate frisbee, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Sign ups for these tournaments will occur during breakfast; look for the sign-up table in the dining hall.
